Decisions are made on a case by case basis. Check the church website home page for announcements. Also, closings will be announced on WTOP website. Adult activities are not necessarily effected and may still meet. Closings will usually be announced on the church voicemail. If in doubt, please contact Program Coordinators/Music Director if you have any questions related to closings.

On Sundays, if OSLC closes, which is rare, there will be an announcement on WTOP (1500 on the AM dial) on your radio or at the WTOP website. In addition, there will be an announcement on the church voicemail. Generally, if the Governor or Prince Georges County has declared a weather emergency and is strongly urging motorists not to drive due to treacherous conditions, we will cancel. If the snow removal company has been unable to clear the parking lot, we will cancel. Please note that this has only happened three times in the last 15 years.
