WELCOME!

FISH of Laurel / Elizabeth House assist people in need by serving daily evening meals and by handing out groceries three times a week.  Members of local churches and other organizations donate non-perishable food items.  Volunteers take turns in cooking and serving the meals.

• Bring canned or other non-perishable food items to the church as often as possible and place them in the basket in the narthex.
• The items most needed are: soups, dried potatoes, tuna, macaroni and cheese, fruit, canned beef stew, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, cereal, white rice and cake and brownie mixes.
• Volunteers are needed to serve as regulars or substitutes to prepare or serve a meal on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
• Volunteers are needed to serve as regulars or substitutes to hand out groceries on Saturday mornings.  We have five teams who do this on a regular basis, on assigned Saturday of the month, from 10:30 to 11:30 am.  A training meeting is held every January for new volunteers.
