Service Opportunities

There are any number of ways to welcome members and guests on Sunday mornings, from Greeting to Ushering, Preparing the Altar or Assisting with Communion.

 

Altar Care
Setting up communion for the worship services, care of vessels and linens, etc.	Commitment:	30 minutes/monthly

Prayer Partners
Caring, compassionate individuals who are in the Prayer Room between Worship Services to pray with you. These individuals are trained to lead you in prayer in your time of need; strict confidentiality is observed at all times.	Commitment:	30 minutes/monthly

Ushers
Hand out bulletins etc. as worshipers enter the sanctuary, assist with communion traffic, take up collection and other assistance as needed.	Commitment:	1hr/monthly

Worship Assistants
Assist with worship/communion etc.	Commitment:	1hr/monthly

Greeters
Greeting attendees as they enter "the way" and offering assistance as needed.	Commitment:	1hr/monthly

Nursery Care
Providing Nursery Care during worship services allows parents to worship without the distractions that young children can cause	Commitment:	1hr/bimonthly

Coffee Hour
